International Technical College in Mongolia is to open in April 2012 with mining curriculum. We are the first English speaking Technical College in Mongolia, offering an international vocational education following Australian standards, giving graduates the opportunity to qualify and work globally.
The vocational education from our Technical College will give a direct access to the global mining companies. The combination of international standard, emphasis on health and safety and English will give our graduates a competitive advantage compared to other technical educations in Mongolia.
Language of instruction is English and curriculum and course material is designed an Australian college standard
Our College has established a partnership agreement with BOX HILL INSTITUTE OF TAFE from Melbourne, Australia and licensed to use its curriculum for our technical education.
Requirements:
- Fluent English with a teaching certificate
- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in heavy equipment technician and maintenance field
- Motivated and committed to develop ITC into the highest quality technical college in Mongolia
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player,safety minded
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train Mongolian students in mining technician qualification
- Conduct classroom and if necessary on the job training
- Manage all areas of program management, curriculum and course materials development, student assessment
- Contribute to the compliance of AQF and quality assurance
